Movement Repair and Restoration

30hr longcase Movement in desperate need of a clean and

restoration. Firstly it is stripped down to its component parts, 

then it has its first clean.

Then any problems have to be identified  like this ...................

 very badly worn pivot


  Drilled out pivot,this is less than 2mm  



New pivot installed ....The now clean movement reasembeled 
and ready for the dial.
